I`ve been in Oslo the last couple of days. I was told about their enormous bankaccount as a nation-somewhere about 1000 billions of NOK. This year they predicted wrong in their budget, the profit became higher than expected!!! The money comes from taxes from the oiltrade and it is not invested now in the infrastructure but in stocks on the global market for the future.
What does a lot of money do to you? There is nothing "neutral" about money, it will affect you. Jesus called it mammon. He said the best thing to make mammon powerless is to give him away.
The Vineyard church in Oslo does a great job with the poor in the center that does´nt get that much from the welth of the state. They give away alot "Jesus-style".
