Beauty and purpose

The first things the swedish austronaut Christer Fugelsang said to his boss on earth was that he was glad that he had been of use during his misson and the second thing was that when he was out working, when the lights came over northen europe he was so moved by the beauty of it.
That is the essence of faith, that´s deepest answer to the why? in our lives.
The earth is not the biggest planet, but´s the most beautiful, it´s chosen among thousands, it´s the theater of God. Dostojevskij said: Beauty will save the world.
Bethlehem is not the biggest city, but something beautiful took place there.

The Gällivare hang

My son goes bowling and you can see why the old northen swedish tradition about the Gällivare hang (your pants hang down showing to much of your rear part) now has been revalued by the swedish legend Björn Borg. Yes, it´s because he wants to sell underwear.

Next Big Event

In the Kingdom of God, the next big event is the return of Jesus. It´s not so much mentioned by the church in the west today. But for the suffering church, it´s the only source of hope. The major part of life will be after life or true life will continue in glory.
